Moe's or Chipotle
While not authentic Mexican food Chipotle is a favorite among us all who likes Mexican. But there is a competitor to Chipotle. It is Moe's Southwest Grill. I recently ate at Moe's and here is what I think.
Moe's is a very inexpensive place to eat like Chipotle. A steak Bowl only costs about $7 and it comes with a drink. Moe's and Chipotle both have the Coke a Cola Freestyle Machine that lest you get the different flavors of drink you want which is a great thing.
Moe's and Chipotle both have the same food choices and the same setup as in ordering your food. The thing I like about Chipotle is that they tend to be more generous with there servings so you get more food for the money.
Moe's Gives you chips as a part of your meal so that is handy. Chipotle does not. Moe's has three different sizes for there dip: small, medium, and large. The only thing that is weird is that a small is like a medicine cup and then a medium is like a big tub of it. Also Moe's make there queso freshly every day, but is not that good. It was a watery white liquid and did not taste the best.
Now let us talk about the interior of Moe's. Moe's interior is not majorly outdated but is not that well updated. Chipotle is Well decorated with White walls to make the space seem large and tables that look great. Moe's tables are not secured to the ground which is a pet peeve of mine because they move when someone tries to get up or sit down. Also Chipotle's Music is very well Eq'd and sounds full but Moe's sounds like its missing most of the low and mid range.
Now lets talk Staff. Chipotle had a very professional and kept staff that was quiet and knew what they were doing. Moe's staff was very loud when it was not busy and they would eat some of the food when they were hungry. The only problem is they would eat it and then start serving the customers without washing there hands. Also when they talked to each other they were loud about it. They were the loudest in the restaurant.
I would rate Moe's a 2 out of 5.
