A Madea Movie
This past fall BOO! A Madea Halloween was released. Now if you are any kind of fan of Madea movies you will know that they are laugh out loud comedies. I went into the theater not knowing what Madea movies were about but came out and instantly went and saw the rest of her movies. There are lots of things that kids and parents would love about the movie. Tyler Perry plays Madea and he does and damn good job of it too.
In the beginning, it took me a little bit to realize it was a comedy but as soon as Mabel reaches in and takes more candy away from the kid i realize this is going to be a good movie. This kid wants to sneak out to a Halloween party after the dad says no and so she tricks Madea and her group into thinking the house is haunted and Madea must track down the kid and save the night.
Madea uses words that would usually be offensive in a way that they are not. She uses some cuss words but not any more than what kids usually would start saying in fourth or fifth grade. This movie would be great to see with a group of friends. An aspect of all Madea's movies and plays is that they have a great lesson to learn from each one. They are a great thing to teach kids to appreciate their parents. I would suggest that a family would be able to have a great day seeing this.
I liked the movie but wish it could be just a little longer. I would give it four out of five stars.
