The Best Movie
There was a bunch of good movies that rolled out this past winter. I have to say the best movie this past winter would have to be Why Him. The reason Why Him was the best was because it was funny, had a great story line, and had surprises thrown in.
Why Him was the best movie to see in early 2017 is because it was funny. There were lost of funny aspects of the movie, including inside jokes. An example of this is when they first arrive at the house and the boyfriend, Laird Mayhem, asks the little brother, Scotty Fleming, what kind of cuss words he knows and one of them was double dicker. Laird plays that word way out of proportion and constantly refers to that throughout the movie and you are laughing every time because of the meaning behind the word. Another aspect that makes the movie a laugh out loud comedy is the adult references that are used throughout the movie. They have words thrown in the movie to make you think of the wrong way a word means.
The second reason that Why Him was the best movie is because it has a great story line. I do not want to ruin the movie so i will just give you the basic gist. The gist of the movie is a boyfriend wants to impress the parents of his girlfriend so he invites them to his house to stay for Christmas. The boyfriend does all that he can to impress the parents as the dad is being a typical dad and trying to prove that he is not the right one for her.
The third reason that Why Him is the best movie in early 2017 is that it has plot twists in it. People can usually predict the outcome of a movie right down to the final minute. but in this one there are plot twists in it that keep you guessing at what is going to happen next.
As you can see the movie is no ordinary comedy. I would rate it 3.5 stars. The reason I would gift it 3.5 is because the trailer showed a part of the movie that was not actually shown in the movie. and it could use a little more dynamics but other than that it is the best movie in early 2017.
