Regal Theater Good or Bad??
I have grown up as a little child going to Regal theaters in Waterford Lakes Florida and here is my review of their theater.
First let’s talk about the purchasing tickets. There are sometimes long lines sometimes not a long line. When you first walk up you see the ticket office outside but when it is bright you cannot even see the listing of movies that is on their sign. It is an outdated sign that is not well displayed. If you must stand in line you must stand in the hot or cold weather. There are most of the times 1 or two people working tickets when there is a huge line but there are like five or six windows.
When you get into the theater you wait in line to hand them your tickets so you can go in. luckily this is done inside. You then are presented with the concessions place. If you look around you can see that it needs to me updated. it is out of style. It also had a huge screen in the middle that used to show previews and yet it is not there anymore but it is just open and looks ugly. Another thing that bugs me is that they have started to sell beer and wine which is not really showing family values because they need to be sober enough to drive.
Now you have all your snacks and drinks and are going to your theater and seat. Most of the time the floor is usually sticky and dry. Yes, they do sweep but they have time to do a quick mop of the place as well.
Now as the movie starts you hear that it is not that loud and you think that it will get, louder right?? Wrong! In the past, they have had the volume way up so you get the thumping bass but in the past couple of time I have gone they had the volume down and it was not a "movie theater experience".
Now as you leave there is always one person standing at the door waiting to sweep which is good but they need to have more than one person cleaning because as I said before it is not that clean. As you leave you pass the little arcade that they have which is still taking quarters which is outdated. they need to start using digital because it will bring in more sales.
I would give this theater two out of five stars. I would not recommend this as a family friendly place.
